Children, Youth, and Adult Formation
"Will you continue in the apostles' teaching and fellowship...?"
Children and Youth Christian Education is offered on Sunday. Primary aged children have instruction on the 2nd and 4th Sunday's; intermediate aged children on the 3rd Sunday. Songs, activities, and holy stories are all part of the formation experiences of our children. The theme for the intermediate group this year is "Love in Action." We will be focusing on ways to be God's hands in the world through service to our congregation and the wider community, while continuing to read together the day's Gospel, and keep reflection journals.

Handbells during Eucharist service
Christian Meditation Group offers a consistent practice of non-discursive meditation: silent, imageless, 'pure' prayer as we seek God in silence and stillness beyond word or thought. We meet every Wednesday, 6 PM, at the church hall. All are welcome--beginners, especially!

Community Ministries
"Will you seek and serve Chirst in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?"
Everyone Eats! a free community meal, is offered the final Tuesday of each month, 5-6 PM, in the church hall (not yet handicap accessible). Members of St. Andrew's prepare and serve the simple supper to all who come through the door. We serve, we eat, we visit with our neighbors. "When a guest comes, Christ comes" (St. Benedict).

PINS (Partners in Service) brings together our congregation with human service agencies in our local community. In collaboration with a local social worker, we promote the resiliency and success of children and youth, ranging in age from infant to young adult.

Liturgical Ministries
"Will you continue in the breaking of bread..and in the prayers?"
Liturgy, "the work of the people" is the public worship of God . Lay and ordained ministers have particular roles creating the liturgy: Lectors and Musicians; Worship Leaders and Preachers; Priest and Deacon; Acolyte, Eucharistic Ministers, and Eucharistic Visitors. We create worship in church and extend the gifts of the liturgy to those of us at home, in hospital, or in nursing homes.
If you are interested in liturgical ministries, contact Jean MacDonald or Armand Henault.

St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab Center Worship Services are shared with the Danville United Church of Christ, the second Sunday each month, 2 PM. Our priest, deacon, and members of the congregation meet with residents at the Center for singing, prayer, scripture reading, and communion. All are welcome!
